Skoda Rapid is a five-door liftback, belongs to the golf class cars. It has been produced since 2013. In Russia and the CIS countries, official deliveries were carried out in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and to the present. Rapid is sold with both gasoline and diesel engines. In our material, we will present a description of the fuses and relays of the Skoda Rapid. We will show the locations of the fuse boxes and relays, their photographs and diagrams with decoding of the elements. We will highlight the fuse responsible for the cigarette lighter and windshield washer.

Block in the cabin

The fuse box is located under the instrument panel and is covered with a protective cover.

In this version, fuse number 44 is responsible for the cigarette lighter, and fuse number 46 is responsible for the washer.

Relay block

It is attached to a special block under the instrument panel itself, behind the fuse box. 

The following relays may be located here:

  • 1A/646 – Fuel pump relay
  • 1B/646/645/644 – Local relay
  • 5/645 – High Voltage Heating Element Relay (PTC)
  • 6/645 – Headlight washer relay

Other relays are located under the hood (glow plug relay, fog lights, etc.).

Option 1. Models before 2015.

In the engine compartment, this unit is located on the positive terminal of the battery and consists of 2 sections (a fuse section and a high-power fuse section.) Depending on the engine version, the 1st unit can be located either to the left or to the right of the battery.

The unit is located on the left side of the engine compartment under the protective cover. See the picture for access options. High-power fuses in the form of fusible inserts are attached to it on the side. The windshield heating relay may be located in the corner.
