Mercedes-Benz Vito W638 represents the 1st generation of the Mercedes Vito model range with the designation 638 and was produced in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 with both gasoline and diesel engines (the 2.2 cdi engines were the most popular ). During this time, the model has undergone restyling. In this publication you will find a description of the fuses and relays of the Mercedes Vito 638 with block diagrams and photo examples of their location. We will highlight the fuse responsible for the cigarette lighter.
The design of the blocks and the purpose of their elements may differ from those presented and depend on the year of manufacture and the level of electrical equipment.
Block under the steering wheel
The first fuse block is located directly under the steering wheel and is covered by a protective cover.

Fuse number 8 at 20A is responsible for the cigarette lighter.
There are two relays installed on the side of the unit. Left – Turn signal relay, Right – Wiper relay.
Block under the glove compartment
The second fuse block is located in the lower part of the panel, in the passenger footwell, under the glove compartment.
